I. The main components of the message setup page:
To set up any message in the Tools or Features, you must know what the components of the message setup page mean.
This article will help you have an overview before setting up the message content at your disposal.
Above is an example image when you set up any message:
Getting Started: The message content the customer will see first
Attachted Steps: The message customer will receive when clicking on the button.
Edit button: A setting related to buttons.
Add action: The action is assigned to the guest when the content starts to be sent.
Message tag: Tag the message in satisfy with Facebook's rules, click here to learn more.
Go to the next step: Add the next message stream after successfully sending the previous message.
Note: A description of the block, will not be sent with the message.
II. Types of messages:
To send a message to someone on Messenger, users must start a conversation with the page. Messages sent with the Messenger platform are classified into several categories. Each type of message has different policies and guidelines on the content and conditions of delivery
1.Text:
The basic message type is a maximum of 640 characters. You can insert icons or customer properties into the message.
Example: {{user_full_name}} will be replaced with the guest full name.
The message can attachs with 3 buttons with replies in Attached Steps.
2. Image:
Messages are sent as image, because of Facebook's policy, the maximum size of image is 25mb.
3. Gallery:
A slide of products and services that you provide to customers as easy to follow as possible, with buttons that call for increased conversion action.
A gallery will have a maximum of 10 elements, each containing 1 image, title, subtitle and 3 buttons. If your gallery exceeds the number of elements allowed, the message will not be sent.
4. OTNR(One-time Notification message):
"One-time Notification message" (OTNR) ask subscribers if they allow to receive tracking messages after 24 hours. After the user has allowed, you can send the OTN message to that person in Broadcasts.
5. Messages with attachments:
Types of attachments that can be sent via Botcake include:
Audio: You can send audio messages in the following formats: mp3, wav, aac, ogg.
Video: Just like audio you can send videos through Botcake
You can also send text files such as Word, Excel, PDF and some other files in the format that Facebook allows.
Note: All messages with attachments must have a capacity not exceeding 25MB in accordance with Facebook policy, if more than 25MB the message will not be sent.
6. Delay:
In order for Botcake to answer more like a real person, you can use the delay function. The Messenger screen will display the "typing" message page
You can customize the delay time as you like.
7. Typing(User Input):
This section lets you compose content to ask customers for what information (such as phone number, occupation, email, ..).
Choose the type that the customer will answer. If "Text" is selected, the customer will enter it manually.
Particularly for "Email" and "Phone number", customers will have to enter the correct format of email or phone number. If a guest enters a mistake, a message will be sent to request that the guest re-enter it correctly.
Customers can click "Ignore" button if they do not want to answer.
Next, select Custom Field to save customer input. You can create Custom Field first in Settings -> Custom Field.
